Our salon is open Sunday from 10AM to 6PM, Monday from 10AM to 8PM, Tuesday-Thursday from 9AM to 8PM, Friday from 9AM to 7PM, and Saturday from 9AM to 6PM. Everyone is behind the chair at varying hours throughout the week so call or text 703-724-9444 to find an appointment time with a stylist that works for you.

Nese Altas is our talented owner, certified Master of Balayage and award-winning stylist who opened Current Salon in 2012 after working in the salon industry since 1999 and receiving her cosmetology license in 2001.

Current Salon’s services include but are not limited to haircuts, styling, blow-drys, partial and full foil color, highlights, root touch-ups, keratin treatments, extension application and styling, and, of course, balayage. Our talented stylists will work with you to find the right combination of our services that best fit the look that you are going for.

Yes, Current Salon does offer color correction services. If your color didn’t turn out quite the way you hoped, our stylists can assess your hair and discuss options to help achieve a result you’ll love. Because every situation is unique, we will start with a complimentary consultation so we can evaluate your hair’s condition, review your color history, and create a customized plan for the best outcome.

Current Salon stylists are able to supplement almost any hair service with a base lift, root shadow, lowlights, bond builder, a pull through, and/or a gloss.

Our licensed esthetician offers full body waxing, facial threading, brow tinting, and a lash lift & tint in house at Current Salon.

Men are welcome to enjoy any of our salon treatments and services but we specifically offer Beard Trims and Men’s Camouflage, Cut & Style for their convenience.

Current Salon uses 100% premium, ethically sourced Remy human hair for guaranteed quality. For installation, we offer the PerfecTress, AQUA and Showpony hair extension systems.

We will start with a complimentary consultation to find the right color, length, and thickness for your desired look. Then we will schedule the installation appointment, which will take between two to three hours for a full set of wefts and up to an hour for tape-ins, followed by blending and styling to your preference.

The service fee for installing hair extensions at Current Salon will be $125 per hour not including the price of the extensions themselves, which you can find here. We also require a 50% non-refundable deposit to purchase the hair extensions prior to your appointment.

We are happy to accommodate walk-in appointments if we have the capacity but because we are typically fully booked out several days in advance we highly recommend making an appointment by calling or texting 703-724-9444 or filling out our appointment request form.

We kindly request that any cancellations are made with at least 24 hours of notice, otherwise we may ask for a deposit when booking future appointments.

Pricing for each service will vary based on the level of your stylist, which Current Salon determines by a combined assessment of years of experience, advanced certifications, and a commitment to ongoing education, but a base cost for each service can be found here. Additional fees may also apply for clients with longer and/or thicker hair.

We accept cash, check and all major credit cards (and of course Current Salon gift certificates that are always available for purchase here) to pay for your service. However, gratuities cannot be processed via credit card so we recommend bringing a check, cash, or asking for your stylist’s Venmo.

If you are not happy with a product that you have purchased, we accept returns if they are within 15 days of purchase for either an exchange or salon credit. If you are not satisfied with a service we’ve provided, we will be happy to address any concerns free of charge within 1 week of your original service.

You can find Current Salon in the One Loudoun community at 20432 Exchange St, Ashburn, VA (directly next to our former address at 44714 Brimfield Dr, Ashburn, VA).

We offer limited street parking in front of the salon, otherwise you will be able to find a spot in the neighboring parking garage at 44742 Brimfield Dr, Ashburn, VA or the parking lot in front of the Trader Joe’s across the street.
