Compared with a traditional shag, the contrast between the top and bottom is usually more dramatic. It can be worn short or long, sleek or tousled and works especially well with waves and curls that naturally bring the layers to life. Curtain bangs or a full fringe often complete the look, but they are not required. The name may sound ferocious. The cut can be as soft or edgy as you want.
